My photography journey began at a young age, truly taking off when I received a Chinon 35mm film camera as a high school gift from my dad. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Photography from Wayne State University, I started my career with weddings, family portraits, and events. Over time, my focus expanded to include architectural photography, nature, abstracts, and more. One of my most recognized photos is a high fashion shot of my neighbor, but I eventually transitioned to Nature, Wildlife, Candid, Travel Photography with my wife, who also became my business partner. Our travels have taken us across the globe, documenting experiences from the Turks & Caicos to Alaska. I have worked with various cameras and formats, from 35mm film to 4K video, and have diverse industry experience, including Supermarket, Arena, Ink Production, Cable, Education, Community Activism, Internet Streaming and Business.
I never considered myself a photographer until my husband, an experienced photographer, encouraged me to submit my work to shows. I began with snapshots during our trips around Detroit, the Metro area, and on vacations. My passion grew when I bought my own digital 35mm camera. With my husband’s support and belief in my talent, along with those that I have met in our local Artist Community, as well as, having sold some my images at local vendor events, I’m now taking a leap of faith to pursue photography professionally.
As a seasoned photography duo, our mission is to capture the world’s beauty and spontaneity through our lenses. We are passionate about photographing landscapes, nature, animals, cityscapes, and candid moments, preserving the essence of each scene and subject. Our goal is to inspire and connect with others by sharing the extraordinary in the ordinary, and the profound in the fleeting moments of life. Through our work, we aim to create a visual legacy that celebrates the wonder and diversity of the world around us.
